Plan of Baithu Rahma

Malappuram: Malappuram District Committee of Indian Union Union Muslim League is build-up 300 homes for poor families. This project is named as Baithurahma (Arabic word literally means the House of Compassion). These are the memorials of Panakkad Syed Muhammedali Shihab Thangal (Former President, Kerala State IUML). He worked more for social harmony and poverty minimization of Keralites.


IUML Malappuram District Committee Planned to build 150 Houses (minimum 1 in every panchayaths and 2 in every municipalities) in this project with the help of members and well-wishers of the organization and found stone laid on 5th August 2012.

But Now, building more than 300 houses in this project. 100 houses are handover-ed to families. 146 houses' works are in progressing stage. works of 54 houses are in  start-up stage. some local committees build around 20 houses.

Every house of this project are build with same plan. some projects are do after purchasing such land. The cost of each houses are around 5-6 Lacs. The plan of house includes 2 bed rooms, Kitchen, Hall, Sit-out with other facilities like Toilets, bathrooms, plumbing, wiring and so on. all are made as concrete.

The consumers of this project is including not only the members of this party. but also including all cast, community, religion and political parties.it is not a odd relief work from this party. IUML Kerala state committee and following committees organizing more and more relief works like CH Center, Scholarships, Ambulance Services, Onam- Ramadan Food & Dress Kit distribution to poor people and more...

Baithu Rahma is the best model. IUML proved it. IUML Kerala State committee thinking about expansion of this project to other districts of Kerala.
